Carrie Mae Winters was born in California on November 24, 1935. She was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and loving friend. She, her husband and their son immigrated to Canada in 1969. Carrie loved Canada, she became a proud Canadian citizen. Carrie was taken from her friends and loved ones far too early, passing away peacefully on May 22, 2005 at the age of 69 years. Carrie lived in Quesnel, BC from 1969 to 1994, then she and her husband Tom Winters retired to Kamloops, B.C. Carrie endured the loss of her husband of 30 years, one year after their retirement. She remained in Kamloops BC until 2004 when she moved to Ontario, Canada. Carried is survived by son Robert and his wife Kelly Winters, their children Carley and Joshua of Ontario, grandchildren and great grandchildren Robert Winters Jr., his wife Nancy (expecting) and their son Sheldon and Brandy Winters and her son Gage of Quesnel, B.C. Carrie will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
