She was a daughter of Arthur and Ida Mary Steele Ham.
Mrs. Tisdale was valedictorian of her class at Olanta High School and was retired from Williamsburg County Clerk of Court's Office as a bookkeeper. She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church and was a Youth and Adult Sunday School teacher for many years. She was married for 55 years and joined in death by her husband, Willis Edward Tisdale, Sr.
Surviving are: one daughter, Pamela Tisdale Wilson of Kingstree; two sons, Willis Edward Tisdale, Jr., of Greenville and Branson Arthur Tisdale, Sr., of Kingstree; six grandchildren, Jim Wilson, Kevin Wilson, Bran Tisdale, Nathan Tisdale, Will Tisdale and Maryanne Tisdale; three great-grandchildren, Kayla Wilson, Iva Grace Wilson, and Jacob Tisdale; two sisters, Marilyn Fowler of Columbia and Harriett Coker of Bamberg; one brother, James Ham of Charleston.
