Pfc. U.S. Army, Vietnam War-Pfc. Masinski was killed in action by an explosive device on 5-15-1969 while serving as a Light Weapons Infantryman with Co. C of the 3rd Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division. Pvt. Masinski started his tour of Vietnam on 10-19-1968.

Pfc. Masinski is the son of the late {1965} Mr. John Sr. & Mrs. Victoria {Karbowski} Masinski of Richmond County, New York, and a 1966 graduate of the Catholic School System of New York. He does leave two brothers, Arthur & Carl, and one sister, Miss Lorraine.

Awards: Purple Heart Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Vietnam Service Medal with One Service Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal.
