Wilma G. Baker was the daughter of Ray O. and Jessie Maude (Turner) Baker. She was born on her parents' farm north of Plymouth. On June 18, 1930 she married Cecil T. Beyler on the family farm.

Wilma Beyler worked as a licensed practical nurse and private duty nurse in Plymouth, including Parkview Hospital and Pilgrim Manor. She operated a gladiola business for 34 years with her husband. She attended Plymouth schools and received her nurses training at Woodlawn Hospital in Rochester. An 80-year member of Plymouth Wesleyan Church, she was its pianist at the church for many years. She accompanied her husband's quartet at the piano.

Wilma G. Beyler died at age 91 at Pilgrim Manor Nursing Center, Plymouth, Indiana.
