Dailyl S. Jones, 32 of Harrisburg, passed suddenly on Thursday, December 12, 2013. Dailyl is the son of Melvin and Valarie Jones; a graduate of John Harris High School, member of Masjid Ahnur Mosque and enjoyed bike riding and sports. He loved his family, life and "keeping it real". He also leaves to celebrate his memory his daughter, Asata Marie Jones and brothers, Khailyl Chambers of Norristown, PA, Melvin Jones Jr., Oneal Neely and sister, Shemia Porter, all of Harrisburg and Cachea Jones of Moultrie, GA; several aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. A Gathering will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Hooper Memorial Home, the interment at Shoops Cemetery. www.hooperfuneral.com

Dailyl Jones, 32, of Harrisburg, was fatally shot while inside a car around 11 p.m. in the 2100 block of North Fourth Street in Harrisburg. This is the city's 15th homicide this year.
