Mary Frances Watts, age 94, formerly of 327 Dixie Manor, died Monday, November 1, 2004 at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

Born June 20, 1910 in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Eyre Emma Divine Watts. She was a retired teacher and principal with the Harrodsburg City Schools, a member of the Mercer County Retired Teachers Association, member of Delta Kappa Gamma, and a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church.

Survivors include two brothers, Roger Watts, Atlanta, GA. and Cecil Watts, Sebring, FL; several nieces and nephews, several great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Maurice and V.W. Watts and two sisters, Ermany Watts Bingham and Emma Mildred Watts.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday November 5th at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Dr. Robert DeFoor. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers are John Trisler, Bill Barnett, David Baker, Kenneth Kirkland, Charles Ison, and Bill Freeman. Honorary bearers are Dick Dartt, Stephen Bailey, Joe Harlow, Curtis Devine, Ronnie Bailey, Darrell Agee, and Dr. Charles Hatcher.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 pm Thursday and prior to the service Friday at the chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Harrodsburg Baptist Church Mission Fund.
