Corporal James Richard Brink was born the youngest of four children to loving parents Mr. Albert Eugene Brazinski Brink and Mrs. Mildred Ruth (Kalbfliesh) Brink. James is a 1962 graduate Charles W. Baker High School, Baldwinsville, Onondaga County, New York, USA. James was not married. He was enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1965 and saw overseas service in Vietnam with Company F, the 9th Battalion, the 3rd Marine Division. James met his untimely combat death during the Vietnam War on December 14, 1966 when engaged against communist North Vietnamese forces. James' family had removed to Sacramento County, California from Syracuse, New York, where his remains were respectfully interred with full military honors at Sierra Hills Memorial Cemetery, Sacramento, California. Rest in peace Cousin Jim.
