Rick James Allison

Rick J. Allison, of Mesa, Arizona passed away June 23, 2011. Rick was born July 24, 1954 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Carlotta (Hansen), who was his high school sweetheart, daughter Kari (Matthew) Manning, three grandsons, Jackson, Parker and Chase, his parents Richard, and Shirley (Allison) Martin, brother, Lyle (Pam) Allison, and sister, September (Geoff) Wilson.
Rick loved his country, and proudly and valiantly served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Rick owned and operated his own business for many years. He was an outgoing and gentle man who loved his family. He had a quiet sense of humor that sometimes bordered on ‘sneaky', and loved a good joke. He enjoyed fishing, golf, travel, stock trading and had a passion for cars.
The family wishes to extend a sincere and heartfelt thank you to Hospice of the Valley for their loving care. Your kind words and prayers are appreciated.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Sonoran Skies Mortuary of Mesa, Arizona. A private memorial will be held on June 29, 2011.
