Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Raymond; and her sisters, Elizabeth, Margaret, Frances, and Eleanor. She was also preceded in death by her children, Raymond Arnold, Robert Arnold, Vivian Foley, Lois Norvell, and Rex Arnold; and her granddaughter, Tommi Gena Suzette Lair.
Theresa graduated Magna Cum Laude from high school in Chicago, IL in 1932. She married Raymond Joseph Arnold in October, 1936. Mrs. Arnold worked at the Rush Hotel in Harrison for 58 years.
Mrs. Arnold was a devoted member of Mary Mother of God Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, and various needle crafts. She bowled in numerous leagues at Cottonwood Bowl for 52 years, where she leaves a host of very good friends.
Theresa is survived by her children, Richard A. Arnold (Colleen) of Tallapoosa, GA, Theresa L. (Joseph) Kowalczyk of Cortland, OH, Roy W. Arnold of Harrison, AR; and her daughter-in-law, Norla (Robert) Arnold, of Williamstown, WV.
Also surviving Theresa are her grandchildren, Reed Arnold, Rip Arnold, Jennifer (Jerry) Pilarski, Lorette (Roger) Dart, Rob (Lynn) Arnold, Phillip (Danna) Arnold, Monty Lair, Robin Lair Wood, Marji Lair Williams, Julie Lair Woodall, Michael Norvell, Dr. Timothy (Dana) Norvell, Gregory Norvell, Dr. Jeffrey (Trang) Norvell, Dr. Rodney (Mary) Arnold, Vicki Arnold Cook, Bruce McQuain, Ashley Arnold (Jeff) Goins, and Zachary Arnold. She is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives.
Visitation will be Friday, December 13, 2013, from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Rosary is at 9:30 AM, Saturday, December 14, 2013, prior to the service with funeral service 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 14, 2013, at Mary Mother of God Catholic Church, with Father Jim Fanrak officiating.
Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
