Alice is the daughter of Albert and Helen (Shilts) Gaskill. Granddaughter of Arthur Lemual Gaskill and Isabella Columbus Ross. She has 3 children, Susan Sinda Robinson, Honorable Dorene Allen.and son Kraig Lee. She married Leroy August Sinda in 1949 in Warren, Michigan. She loved the north county, having lived most of her life in Warren and Rochester Michigan. The family had a cabin in the Onaway area for generations. My mother was a woman filled with spirit and blessed with a contagious laugh that has been passed down through the generations. She wasn't a very good cook, but we didn't know that until we were grown. She was a great business woman, who accomplished much in the real estate world. She was a fearless driver of jeeps in the woods of Northern Michigan.

She loved her husband, Lee Sinda, with her whole being, they had a great life together. They met on a double date at an amusement park. They were not each others date. They were 16 and 17 and married two years later.

My mother died from bone cancer, which she fought for almost 4 years. She participated in experimental protocalls at Mayo Clinic. She was instrumental in new medications being developed. She loved life to the fullest. I miss her
