PAYNE -- MRS. HANNAH EVANS, 75, 1000 Forrest Ave., died in a local hospital Saturday evening. She is survived by two daughters, Miss Mary Sue Payne and Mrs. Elizabeth Payne Elberfield of Chattanooga; one son, William H. Payne, Chattanooga; three granchildren, four great-grandchildren, sister, Mrs. Mae E. Marshall, Dayton, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Payne was a member of Northside Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be held in the East Chapel of National Funeral Home at 1 o'clock Monday afternoon. Interment will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
