Emma was the daughter of Heinrich and Anna (Harms) Duering. She married Ernest Kellner on Sept. 13, 1923 at Henry Kellner home in Wilcox, NE. They moved to the Crookston area in 1928.
Emma was a self-employed seamstress and enjoyed crocheting, embroidering and quilting.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, 2 daughters, Lydia Lien and an infant daughter, all of her brothers and sisters and also an infant great-grandchild.
Survivors include a son, Donald, a daughter, Clara Shelbourn, a son-in-law, Marion Lien, eight grand-children and 3 great-grandchildren.
