Vivian became affiliated with Avon in 1956. She then moved to Lafayette in 1959 as an Avon District Sales Manager and retired 24 years later in 1983. She also was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ-became a deacon, elder and president of the congregation in 1979. Vivian served as president of the Lafayette Tourists Club after becoming a member in 2005. Vivian also served as a volunteer at Home Hospital and Saint Elizabeth Hospital for 27 years.
She is survived by a brother Raymond Leach (wife Carol) of Punta Gorda, FL and sons: Dennis (wife Donna) of Lafayette IN, Thomas (wife Jolee) of White Plains, NY, Ronald (wife May Kay) of Lafayette, IN. step-daughter Cheryl Dutton (husband David) of Denver, CO and step-son Mark Davis (wife Kay) of Canton, GA. Also surviving are 17 Grandchildren: Scott Cahill (wife Rene), Derrick Cahill (wife Jama), Stanton Cahill (wife Dawn), Dannette Schreckengast (husband Jason), Sonia Williams (husband Kevin), Damon Cahill (wife Sara), Lance Cahill (wife Dana), Dusten Cahill (wife Lori), Kirt Cahill (wife Jennifer), Matt Hill (wife Lisa), Amy Rodeheaver (husband Roger), Marc Hill (wife Brandy), Andrew Dutton (wife Bartley), Bradley Dutton (wife Bridget), Peter Goldstein (wife Susan), Seth Goldstein (wife Michelle) and Eric Goldstein (wife Mary Dana).
Vivian also has 43 Great Grandchildren: Samantha and Rebecca Cahill; Chandler and Colten Cahill; Kirsten and Kenneth Cahill; Gaven, Keaton, Raef, Danica, Gwyneth Schreckengast; Lacey and Mikahla Williams; Skyler, Greyson and Marin Cahill; Daniel, Anna and Alex Cahill; Dylan and Addison Cahill; Taylor Barbare, Caroline and John Cahill; Owen and Ross Hill; Nolan Rodeheaver; Mason, Adam and Cody Hill; Ella and Ben Dutton; Charlotte and Julianne Dutton; Devin Goldstein; Ayla and Shae Goldstein and Timothy Goldstein.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 6, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Immanuel United Church of Christ: 1526 S. 18th St. Lafayette, IN 47905. Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Immanuel United Church of Christ. Entombment will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
