C.O. Brewer was a City of Dallas, Texas police officer hired April 3, 1889. He was killed in the line of duty on May 24, 1892 when he was arresting Henry Miller for the charge of slander. He was shot in the left side by Miller during the arrest and died about a half hour later. He was born in Marshall, Texas.
