Mr. William Allen Pate, Sr. of Lawrenceville, died Sunday, January 22, 2006. HE was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy and retired from Kraft Foods in 1987. Mr. Pate is survived by his wife, Frances Pate; son, William Allen Pate, Jr., both of Lawrenceville; brother, Tom Pate, of Douglasville; two granddaughters; a great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held January 24th at 2 p.m Tuesday, at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Rev. Pail Ard will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Georgia Chapter, 1925 Century Blvd., NE., Suite 10, Atlanta, GA., 30345-3015. The family will received friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
