Mr. Allen Lane Boyd, 47, died Tuesday April 3, 2007. A graveside service will be conducted on Friday at 3 p.m. in Homestead Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Boyd was a native and lifelong resident of Pitt County. He was employed with National Spinning Company in Washington, N.C. for 17 years and attended the Light House Church of God.
He is survived by his daughter, Kristie Boyd of Greenville; mother and stepfather, Emma Boyd Roberson and husband, John, of Grimesland; brothers, James E. "J.E." Boyd and Tim Boyd, both of Grimesland.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8 at Wilkerson Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Emma B. Roberson.
