After an illness of about two months, Mrs. Rebecca Seymour, 81 years of age, died late Sunday night at the Macon hospital. She was the widow of the late James Seymour, who was at one time a well known business man of Macon. At the time of his death he was a member of the wholesale grocery firm of Seymour, Tinsley & Co.
Mrs. Seymour is survived by no children, but leaves a number of nieces and nephews residing in Macon. She has been prominently identified with the Baptist church of Macon for many years and was always a willing worker in the benevolent work of the church.
The funeral will be held this morning at 10:30 o'clock from the Tattnall Square Baptist church, Rev. R. C. Granberry, the pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill cemetery.
