Age 76 of Shannondale, Harpers Ferry West Virginia died Saturday at the Veteran Medical Center Martinsburg, W Va. Born in Harrisonburg, Va., he was the son of the late Henry Clay Aaron, Sr. and Ressie Hundley Aaron. He was the husband of 50 years of Betty Jane Walker Aaron of Harpers Ferry.
An Army veteran of World War II, he was in the 29th Infantry Division and took part in the allied invasion of Normandy, France, known as D Day.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by son Patrick Henry Aaron and Arnold Lynn Aaron; sister Norma Russell; brothers James and Bruce Aaron; and one grandchild. He was predeceased by brothers Alvin and Howard Aaron.
