Carolyn Proffitt Winch of Tullahoma, passed away Sunday, March 18, at Harton Hospital in Tullahoma. She was born in Monroe County. She was a homemaker, a member of the DAR and the First Families of Tennessee. She was 61. Preceded in death by: parents, Walter Proffitt Jr. and Mildred Irene Clevenger Proffitt. Survivors include: husband-Roger E. Winch of Tullahoma; Sons-Randy and Kevin Winch of Tullahoma; Daughter-Nicole Mitchell of Tullahoma; Sister-Peggy Marshall of Tullahoma; Grandchildren-Vanessa, Nicole and Victoria Caroline. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 22, at Tullahoma Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at 3:30 p.m., in Sweetwater Valley Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Tullahoma Funeral Home.
