David Lee Perin passed away at his home in Lawton, with his wife at his side.

He was born in Seligman, Arizona to Milton and Sarah (Brainard) Perin. The family moved to Oregon where David attended school, quitting at the age of 14 to work on a farm.

He enlisted in the US Army in February of 1953 and served in Korea prior to his Honorable Discharge in 1956. While serving his country, David received the National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, and United Nations Service Medal. He returned to the Northwest after the service and worked in the logging and construction industries.

David and Judith married on October 29, 1977, in Las Vegas, Nevada. They spent the next 22 years traveling from the Coast to Coast, working as a construction miner. He retired in 1999 to enjoy life. He enjoyed visiting family, friends, and fishing. He was a member of VFW Post 5263 in Lawton.

Survivors include his wife Judith; a brother, Bill (Mary) Perin of Salem, Oregon and extended family in Colorado, Arizona, California, and Oregon.
