"MRS. W. W. SMITH.
"After an illness of a week Mrs. Clara A., wife of William W. Smith, died at her home last Thursday of typhoid pneumonia. Mrs. Smith, whose maiden name was Clara A. Albaugh, was born in the town of Lyons in 1852. All her life was passed in this vicinity and she was held in high esteem by all who knew her. Thirty-nine years ago she became the wife of William W. Smith, who with one son, Jesse M. Smith, is left to mourn the loss of a kind and loving helpmate. Two sisters, Mrs. E. A. Loss, of Hillsdale, Mich.; Mrs. Mary J. Van Dyne, of Seneca Falls, and two brothers, W. M. Albaugh, of Rochester, and C. L. Albaugh, of Hillsdale, also survive. The funeral was largely attended from the house last Saturday afternoon, Rev. A. J. Waugh officiating, and interment was made in Pinewood."
