Kenneth Harold Edwards, 88, of Arcola passed away at 1:41 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 12, 2013) at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

He was born March 3, 1925 in Moultrie County to Harold Virgil "Jack" and Nora Gladys Chapman Edwards. He married Edith Marie (Brown) Logan on April 24, 1965 in Coles County. She passed away on May 26, 2003. He was also preceded in death by his parents; one son, Jackie Lee Edwards; one sister, Willeva June Ellis-North and a great-grandson, Tony Eugene Edwards.

He is survived by one daughter, Barbara Ann (Boyd) Stenger; two sons, Donald Eugene (Jeanette) Edwards and John Wayne Edwards; one stepdaughter, Janis Marie (Steve) Walk; two stepsons, James Morris (Carol) Logan and Jackie Lynn (Linda) Logan; four grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren and one sister, Wanda Lavon (Eddie) Titus.

He had worked as a brakeman on the railroad and then as a Tastee Bread deliveryman. He retired from Quantum Chemical Corporation in 1987 with 31 years of service.
