Douglas D Decker (57) died November 9th at his home in San Tan Valley, Arizona. He was the first born child of Dennis D and Jane M (Wipf) Decker of Huron SD. Doug grew up in Yale, South Dakota attending grade school there through the 8th grade. From there he attended Iroquois High School graduating in 1974. After high school he continued his education at Dakota State University in Madison graduating in 1978 with a bachelor's degree in accounting. After college Doug spent two years in Arizona as a Missionary, then returned to South Dakota in the Yankton area where he was close to his parents. A short time later Doug returned to Arizona where he later met Janine and married on May 30, 1987. He was a father to Janine's two children along with adding six more children to the family. After several years in the Phoenix area, Doug and his family spent a few short years between Utah and South Dakota. He then returned to Arizona with his family where he has since lived. Doug's career consisted of retail sales and accounting and for the past 12 years he worked at Walmart and lived in San Tan Valley, Arizona.

Douglas is survived by his parents; Dennis D and Jane M (Wipf) Decker of Huron SD; 3 brothers; Victor Decker of Huron SD, Danny (Kay) Decker of Cavour SD, Todd (Deanna) Decker of Huron SD; 3 sisters Darla Erickson of Huron SD, Babbi (Bill) Fox of Bancroft SD, Connie (Garry ) Hegdahl of Howard SD and many nieces and nephews. His children; Bonnie (Oguz) Demir of West Chester OH, Joshua (Christine) Woods of Sacramento CA, Adam (Isabel) Decker of Rexburg, ID, Krystal (Brian) Williams of San Tan Valley AZ, Sara (Jeff) Spencer of Sacramento CA, Chelsie and Benjamin Decker of San Tan Valley AZ, Daniel Decker of Rexburg, ID, and 8 grandchildren.

Douglas was preceded in death by both grandparents; John and Mary Decker of Huron, SD, Zack B and Matilda Wipf of Huron SD, two aunts and four uncles.

His funeral was held at 3 PM Tuesday, November 19th at the Living Hope Alliance Church , 1779 Frank Ave SE, Huron SD. Burial was in the Living Hope Alliance Church section of Ideal Cemetery.
