Almeda Jane (Morgan) Hendershott was the wife of Charles Hendershot (1847-1924) who is also buried here in Oak Grove Cemetery. Almeda was the d/o Joseph Morgan and Elizabeth Kelley, per her death certificate, which also says she was buried in Oak Grove. She was also the was also the niece of brothers, John Niblack Morgan, the husband of Sarah Ann Hendershot, d/o of my g-g-g-grandparents, William Scholl Hendershot/Mary Beavers Kitchen and niece of Charles Edward Morgan, the husband of Harriet Hendershot, the daughter of my g-g-grandparents, George Beavers Hendershot/Sarah Permilla Simmons. Husband Charles Hendershott was a 2nd cousin, once removed to my 2nd great-grandaunt, Sarah Ann (Hendershot) Morgan and a 4th cousin to my great-grandaunt, Harriet (Hendershot) Morgan.

Almeda and Charles were the parents of 2 sons, Orel M. Hendershott and Albert E. Hendershott and grandparents to Charles Hendershott and Keller M. Hendershott.
