Norma Strenge, 93, of Cambria, died Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at the Madelia Community Hospital. Funeral service will be 10:30am Tuesday, June 19 at the Cambria Presbyterian Church with Reverend Penny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Cambria Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8pm Monday at Schmucker Funeral Service in New Ulm, and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Norma Katheryn Randall, the daughter of Curtis and Caroline (Trouth) Randall, was born January 6, 1914 in Perry, Iowa. She moved with her family to Good Thunder in 1919. Norma was united in marriage to Dick Strenge August 1, 1948 at her family farm. Together, they owned and operated the Home Bakery in Good Thunder until 1954, when they moved to Cambria Township, Blue Earth County where they farmed for many years. Her husband died January 28, 2006. She was a member of Cambria Presbyterian Church and the Evans American Legion Auxiliary Post #329 of Cambria.

Survivors include daughters, Ronelva Dauer and her husband Chuck of Fairmont, Verna Walters and her husband Gene of Hanska; son, David Strenge and his wife Carol of Cambria; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Darin Altmann, Mary Randall and special friend Mike Fischer, Patty Blaufuss and her husband Steven, Bill Strenge, Ben Dauer and his wife Lynnsey, Tom Strenge and his fiancÈe Erin Hilbert, Andrew Dauer and his special friend Ashley Bigham; great-grandchildren, Sarah and Cody Lane; niece, Sharon Gilster of Eagle Lake; nephew, Douglas Randall of Elysian; sisters-in-law, Josephine Penner of Chatfield, Evangeline Harder of Mountain Lake, Florence Snook and her husband Don of Ironton, Loris Strenge of St. James, Hazel Strenge of Onamia; brothers-in-law, Lawrence Strenge and his wife Grace of Odin, and Dwayne Rosenberg of Fairmont. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Annabelle Cahow; and brother, Harold Randall.
