Lewis H. Lindecamp passed away at his home on Third avenue on Monday morning aged 74.
Mr. Lindecamp was taken ill about two weeks ago and was confined to bed. He was able to sit up on Sunday and his death came most suddenly.
The deceased was a retired farmer and had lived near Fagg's Manor previous to coming to Parkesburg about ten years ago. He was generaly regarded as a man of fine disposition and was very well know. We (sic) was a member of Parkesburg M.E. Church, of the I.O.O.F., No 370; the I.O.A.M., No 670, both of Atglen, and was a veteran ond (sic) the Civil War having enlisted in Lancaster County.
Besides his widow he is survived by five sons and three daughters: Frank, of Philadelphia; George, of Chatham; Charles, of West Chester; Clyde, of Cochranville; Walter, at home; Mrs. Morris Baker, Chatham; Mrs. Walter Moore, at home; Mrs. Clyde McComsey, First Avenue; also two brothers, one in Ohio and one near Gap.
