George J. Schissler, Jr., 66, of Daretown passed away on October 29, 2013.
Born in Philadelphia, George was the son of George J. Schissler, Sr. & Doris Davis Knickerbocker. He graduated from West Virginia Institute of Technology with a degree in Engineering.
A very creative person, George loved to work with his hands building and fixing things. He would eventually retire from CertainTeed, a company that produced building products.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corp, was a lifelong member of the NRA and the Cumberland Rifleman.
His wife Christine (nee: Gerner), his mother, Doris as well as many more family members and friends, including nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles survive him. His father, George Sr. predeceased him.
All Services will be held at the ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, 64 Broad St., Woodstown, NJ 08098. Interment will take place at Eglington Cemetery.
