WELLINGTON - Linda Kay Belew, 56, died Friday, Nov. 13, 2009.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church in Wellington with the Rev. Kevin Everett and Alton Belew officiating.

Linda was born April 9, 1953, in Wellington to Arthur and Mary Belew.

Linda was a 1971 graduate of Wellington High School. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Wellington and loved her Lord, her family, friends and church family.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Arthur Leroy Belew and Mary Frances Poff Belew; and a sister, Evelyn Belew Jarvis.

Survivors include a son, Ray Leon Menge Jr. and wife Julie of Clinton, Okla.; a daughter, Samantha Abigail McConnell of Lubbock; three granddaughters, Mikaila, Taylor and Destiny, all of Lubbock; five brothers, Leroy Belew and wife Judy and Kenneth Patterson and wife Helen, all of Wellington, Donnie Belew and wife Nancy of Tucson, Ariz., Jerry "Tom" Belew of Carrollton, and Alton Belew and wife Joy of Glen Rose; four sisters, Betty Langford and husband Jimmy of Wellington, Janice Deurfeldt of Tucson, Quinda Miller of Fairview, Okla., and Patricia Roberson of Jay, Okla.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to Riverbend Retreat Center, 1232 CR 411B, Glen Rose, TX 76043, www.river bendretreat.org; or to a fund for her grandchildren at Wellington State Bank, 1000 Eighth St., Wellington, TX 79095.
