The legacy of Cristoffer Harris will continue through the Cristoffer Allyn Thomas Harris book collection at Windemere View Elementary School. Before his passing, Cristoffer expressed concern about the lack of diversity in books and biographies available for young people of different races. Through his collection, the children of Windemere view can now see how diverse the world can be.

Cristoffer was a dreamer who saw the world as a big place to learn. He yearned to get to know everyone and everything about the universe. In spending countless hours at the school library, he would tell everyone of what he wanted to be when he was older. He was ambitious and longed to make his mark on the United States.

Cristoffer was a loving, friendly, caring, enthusiastic and obedient son, brother, grandson, cousin and nephew. At age three, when the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle craze hit, there was nothing cuter than walking with Cristoffer through his Grandparents' neighborhood and watching him run with wide-eyed zeal toward a manhole cover as he screamed with glee, "Turtles!" It was that kind of enthusiasm and excitement that Cristoffer brought with him to every endeavor.
