Edward C. Kroeger, 91, of Ewing, died at 1:55 a. m. Thursday (Aug. 27, 1981) in the Hostel House at Edina, where he had been a patient for one month.
Services were held Saturday in Queen of Peace Catholic Church, officiated by the Rev. Patrick Shortt. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery at Ewing.
The Ball-Coder Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Kroeger was born January 6, 1890, in Palmyra, a son of John and Amanda Blickhan Kroeger. He married Maude Warming on July 2, 1936, in Ewing. She died on Nov. 2, 1977. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by three brothers, Alfred and John Kroeger, both of Ewing, and George Lee Kroeger, of Barry, Ill.; and a sister, Mrs. Otto (Ella) O'Brien, of Ewing.
