Lily was a young lady that had "problems", and the problems also involved her parents, brother, relatives from Milford, De.
At one point she was sent back to Milford, De. from her parents home in Philadelphia, Pa. It involved the newspapers, courts, neighbors, and the articles are on this memorial. I think that due to this press she received, she was buried without a stone but in the family plot so that she could rest in peace. The death certificate states she is buried in Oddfellows and when I asked at the office of Oddfellows, I was told that some old records had been lost so although they did not have her listed, they just couldn't say where her grave was in there.
She had tremendous support from her family, her father, William Thomas Prettyman in particular, and she obviously was very loved.
