Charles Hector Simpkins, 77, of 416 So. L. St., died Thursday at his home. He was born in Tacoma and lived here all his life. He retired in 1846 following many years' employment as a railway mail clerk. He was a 50-year member of State Lodge No. 68, F&AM; Tacoma Aerie No. 3, FOE; Tacoma Moose Lodge No. 435; and the Episcopal Church.
He is survived by three nieces, including Jean Frances Simmons of Bellingham. Services will be announced by the Buckley-King Co.
