PEORIA - Alice D. Albers, 89, of 2724 W. Reservoir died at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2002, at her residence.
Born Oct. 19, 1912, in Chicago to Thomas and Marie Iverson Dalbey, she married Orville R. Albers on Jan. 17, 1931, in Monee. He died in April 30, 1974, in Homewood.
She also was preceded in death by three brothers.
Surviving are one daughter, Judith Grimm of Peoria; two grandsons, Eric (and Michele) Grimm of Peoria and Dr. Kurt Grimm of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; one granddaughter, Dana (and Bill) Sterbens of Chicago; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Federated Church, where visitation will be one hour before services. The Rev. Dr. Robert Gillogly will officiate. Cremation has been accorded and inurnment will be in the church columbarium. Arrangements are by Wilton Mortuary.
