Dr. Luther Gilbert, 72, Had Practiced in County for 52 Years
PULASKI, Tenn., April 30 -
Dr. Luther Gilbert, 72, practicing physician in Giles County for the past 52 years, died this afternoon at Prospect, 15 miles south of Pulaski, after a heart attack.
He was graduated from Vanderbilt Hospital at Nashville and the college of Physcians and Surgeons at Baltimore, Md. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Misses Lula and Florence Gilbert, of Knoxville, and Mrs. H. W. Stevens, of Montgomery, Ala.; a son Luther Gilbert of Murfreesboro; a sister, Mrs. Joe King of Giles County, and two brothers R. A. and T. G. Gilbert of Prospect.
