George Craig Edgar Jr., 65, died at home on Thursday, February 19, 2009, surrounded by family and friends. In 1997, Craig received a new heart and used it well.
Craig is survived by his wife of 43 years, Pam Edgar; brother, Richard (Sue); sister, Janis Dodds (Dick); children, Katie (Frank Prater), Tim (Danielle), and Todd (Ginny Reams), Don and Leigh Bircher, Mary Pat Doorley; eight grandchildren, Craig and Sue Angerman, Cris and Polly Brown, and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial service at Forty Corners Church of God in Massillon, Ohio, at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 22. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association or Forty Corners Church of God. Please consider becoming an organ donor so you, too, can give the gift of life.
