CANADIAN - Richard C. Steadman Sr., 93, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in First Christian Church with Matt Cook officiating. Graveside services will be at 4:30 p.m. Friday in Fairview Park Cemetery in St. John, Kan., by Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian.
Mr. Steadman was born June 23, 1912, in Arkansas to Jasper Steadman and Blanche Galpen Steadman. He married June Steadman on Aug. 15, 1963, in Canadian.
Survivors include five sons, Richard C. Steadman Jr. of Hutcheson, Kan., Gary Steadman of Colwich, Kan., Larry Steadman of Fort Worth, Jerry Steadman of Liberal, Kan., and Terry Steadman of Oklahoma City; and numerous grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to First Christian Church, 402 Purcell Ave., Canadian, TX 79014.
