MARY M. WOLBERT
Mary M. Wolbert, 77, of Snydersburg, died Sunday, May 26, 2002, in Clarion Hospital.
Born Feb. 10, 1925, in Lucinda, she was the daughter of Emery J. and Frances SWARTZFAGER BAUMCRATZ.
Mrs. Wolbert worked for 30 years at Wayside Inn in Huefner. She was a caregiver to numerous people in the surrounding area. Mrs. Wolbert was a member of St. Joseph Church in Lucinda and the
Rosary Society of the church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, her grandchildren and
great-grandchildren and her kitty, Fluffy.
Mrs. Wolbert was married in St. Mary Church, Yatesboro, on Oct. 18, 1941, to Edward F. Wolbert Jr., who died April 23, 1970. Surviving are four daughters and their husbands, Mary "Cookie" and
Lawrence BAUER Jr. of Lucinda, Janet and Gene FESENMYER of Marble, Edith and William LANDER Jr. of Lucinda and Julie and Randy LANDER of
Snydersburg; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She also is survived by two half sisters, Mrs. Ron (Elma) GRAFTON of Hadley and Mrs. Lee (Betty) WELLS of Camp Hill; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Wolbert was preceded in
death by a granddaughter, Holly Nicole; and a half sister, Mercedes.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Borland Funeral Home Inc. in Leeper.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Church, Lucinda, with the Rev. Joseph Czarkowski, pastor, presiding.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family suggests memorials be made to St. Joseph School, Lucinda, or to the Clarion-Forest VNA, Knox, 16232.
