Mrs. Jefferson F. (Alice T.) Fortney, 67, of 2240 E. 34th St., died in a local hospital Monday. She was born in Glenwood and had lived in Tacoma 36 years. She was a member of the Christian Church and the Sumner Grange.
Surviving besides her husband are a son, Lowell of Skykomish; four daughters, Mrs. Hazel Wilder of Tacoma, Mrs. Dollie Bowman of Wenatchee, Mrs. Evelyn Van Trojen of Enumclaw and Mrs. Zelda Thompson of San Francisco, California; a sister, Mrs. Hazel Lentz of Sand Diego, California; a brother, Lester Anderson of Pacific; and 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Services will be announced by the Piper Funeral Home.
