Brent L. Murr
Brent L. Murr, age 44, a recent resident of Ellicott and longtime resident of Falcon, passed away Oct. 15, 2007, at Memorial Hospital. He was the owner of B'Murr Scrap Metal Co.
Brent Lyle Murr was born June 13, 1963, in Colorado Springs to Dennie and Winifred (Compher) Murr. He married Valeda Clark in 2001. He loved working on old cars and attending auctions.
He is survived by his wife, Valeda of Ellicott; his daughter, Amber Lynn Murr of California; his son, Joshua Lyle Murr of Colorado Springs; his parents, Dennie and Winnie Murr of Falcon; his stepchildren, Marcus Rohrbaugh of Denver and Stephanie (husband Aron) Anderson of Colorado Springs; and his granddaughter, Victoria Mae Anderson. Also surviving are his sisters: Denise Murr of Falcon and Colette (husband Jess) Cowan of Falcon.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shaundra, and his grandparents, Dewey and Orphy Compher and Margaret and Lyle Murr.
A Celebration of Life was held at noon Oct. 19, 2007 at the Ellicott Open Door Church, 2055 N. Log Road in Ellicott, Colo.
His wonderful smile and great sense of humor will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
Memorials may be made to the Brent Murr Memorial Fund in care of the Farmer's State Bank of Falcon.
