Corporal Wolbert was a member of the 38 Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. He was killed in action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on 5-18-1951.

Norman F. Wolbert, son of Mr. and Mrs Edward F. Wolbert of Snydersburg, who was reported missing in action in May is now listed by the War Department as dead, according to members of his family.

Corp. Wolbert was born in Snydersburg August 25, 1928. He was drafted and left for the armed service Sptember 25, 1950. he served with the 38 Infrantry Regiment and went overseas to Korea in April 1951.

Besides his parents he is survived by the following brothers and sisters, Edward J., Quentin, Regis, Howard, Dennis, Earl and Grace of Snydersburg and Mrs Marian Hepfl of Clarion.

A high mass of requiem with full military service will be held in St. Joseph's Church in Lucinda at 7:30 o'clock Saturday morning.
