Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Van Gundy, 84, of Arcola passed away at 6:10 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 12, 2013) at her residence.
She was born Oct. 21, 1928 in Sikeston, Mo. to Elmer and Rose Ellen Frazier. She married C.W. Van Gundy Jr. on Jan. 31, 1948. He preceded her in death on Jan. 12, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Eulah Gordon, Pauline Steele and Kathleen Gill.
Surviving are her children, Lynn Miller, Kay Van Gundy, Greg (Carla) Van Gundy, Jodie (Terry) Hinkle and Kim (Janet) Van Gundy; eight grandchildren, Jamie Henkelman, Jennie Damler, Jeff Dague, Melissa Dague, Janelle Van Gundy, Stephanie Van Gundy, Tony Van Gundy and Brook Van Gundy and four great-grandchildren, Madisyn, Bradyn, Jordyn and Tenley.
