John Goodwin was born on January 28, 1920 to Sidney and Medora Goodwin of Crabcreek, Washington (near Sprague). He died on Saturday, October 6, 2012. He attended school at Amber, Washington. Later he worked as a farm laborer in the Amber and Cheney area. John served his country during the Korean War. Survivors include a sister, Florence Harris of Cheney and a brother, Maurice Goodwin of Medical Lake, sisters-in-law Eloise Goodwin and Devota Goodwin of Cheney, and brother-in-law Pete Floyd of St. Charles, Illinois. He had many nieces and nephews in the Cheney area. Private burial services will be held later.
