Mrs. Florence E. Schmader, 53 of Lucinda died Friday morning in Brookville Hospital.

She was born May 25, 1919 in Lucinda, a daughter of Joseph B. and Loretta Schupp Lander.

She lived her whole life in Lucinda and married Clarence A. Schmader who survives. She attended St. Joseph's School at Lucinda and was a member of St. Joseph Church and the Rosary Society of the church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sons, William J. and Samuel J. Schmader of Lucinda, Clarence E. Schmader of Clarion RD2 and Russell N. Schmader at home; three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Janet) Weaver of Marble and Pamela A. and Bridget A. Schmader at home; 12 grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. (Grace)Zacherl of Lucinda, Mrs. Ralph (Bernadine) Goughler of Knox, Mrs. Ramon (Catherine) Whitehill of Oil City, Mrs. George (Beatrice)Beltz of Venus and Mrs. Charles (Bernice)Biernik of Erie; four brothers, Ralph Lander of Fryburg, Russell Lander of Fern, David Lander of Oil City and Arthur J. Lander of Lucinda, and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. John (Marie) Dayton of Georgia and Mrs. Howard (Ann) Kinch of Fryburg.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 pm today and Sunday in the Faller Funeral Home in Fryburg. The members of the Rosary Society will assemble to say the rosary at 8 pm Sunday in the funeral home. The Mass of The Resurrection will be sang at 9 am Sunday in the St. Joseph Church, Lucinda with Msgr. William Holl, pastor, as celebrant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
