died at his home near Wolfsville, Md., Saturday, at 6:00 a.m., at the age of 80 years, death was due to complications.
He was the son of the late Jacob and Rebecca (Grossnickle) Maugans of near Myersville.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Christie E. (Murphy) Maugans; two daughters, Mrs. Irene Wolfe, Wolfsville; Miss Myrtle Maugans and one son, Roscoe Maugans, both at home.
The body is at the funeral home in Middletown where it will remain until Monday afternoon when it will be taken to the Grossnickle Church of the Brethren for funeral services at two o'clock. Rev. Irving R. Stottlemyer will officiate. Interment in adjoining cemetery. Gladhill Company, funeral directors.
