Robert died at the age of 88 at home with his loving wife Rita and son Bob at his side.

He was a son of Antonio Bamonte and Anna Bamonte.
Robert was one of twelve children.

He was a WW II veteran, missing his high school graduation to enlist.
Robert was a recipient of several medals;
The Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal
The Good Conduct Medal
WW II Victory Medal
Following retirement from the service, he graduated from the former Williamsport Institute of Technology, now Penn College.

Robert loved his family and was a good husband, father and brother.
He was a quiet gentle man and he loved family gatherings.
He was an excellent musician
He loved animals, he had a delightful and quick sense of humor.

A very religious man he attended Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes, everyday.

He was employed for over 30 years at the former Litton Industries. He was an excellent electrician. He could fix just about anything. He would spend many happy hours in his workshop and would fix many things for family and friends. We will miss his kindness and generosity very much.

Robert and Rita recently celebrated their 60th anniversary on August 8, 2013.
They were the parents of eight children;

Bob of Montoursville
Teri ( Ron ) of North Carolina

15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
