Harry Robert Bailey "Bob" was the son of Harry James Bailey and Emma Catherine Flora McKinnon.

Bob's mother died as a result of his birth, and so he was raised by his maternal uncle and aunt.

Bob was a loving man who adored his children. He was married twice in his lifetime. His first wife, Mildred Mouck gave him two daughters, Cathy and Kim. Four sons sadly died young.
His second wife, Lynn, gave him a son Chris.

During his lifetime Bob had a love of trucks and worked as a truck driver for Canada and the USA. He would at some points be gone for weeks on end. Bob often returned home in the wee hours of the morning and would wake up his children and take them out to a truckers breakfast before school.

During his last few years of being here he was never seen without his small white dog Buddy.

Bob became sick at the beginning of the 1990's and passed away at Belleville General Hospital.

He was buried on top of a hill near the water in the Belleville Cemetery. When Buddy, his small white dog died, Bob's son Chris had him laid to rest with him.

Orignally buried in an unmarked grave, a tombstone was later erected by his three surviving children.

He is sorely missed by those who love him.
