Linda (Sue) Pound was born March 7, 1950 to Mildred and Harold Ridle in Denver, Colorado. She lived most of her life in the Denver area and worked as a cost engineer for several government and private agencies. Sue was married to Mike VanDerLeest in 1967 and had one child, Robyn. She was married to Thomas Pound in 2000. They resided in Littleton. Sue had a passion for gardening and gourmet cooking. She was a beautiful, "Classy Lady" who blessed the lives of her family and friends. She will be sadly missed. Sue is survived by husband Tom, daughters Robyn VanDerLeest and Kayla Pound, grandson Alec Williams, mother Mildred Childress, two brothers, one sister, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and me, her second cousin. I just met her last Christmas and we got to spend alot of time together until she said she wasnt feeling good in April.Never did I think she had cancer at that time. She was so full of life and had quit smoking and was working out with her daughter eveyday at the gym.I never thought I would be adding her to findagrave today. It was just a few months ago she was sitting with me at my computer and I was showing her all our relatives that had passed that I had added. She was so happy to see that I had her Grandmother that she had never met on there. She left a beautiful note for her.I have saved every email I got from her even from before she got sick.I will miss talking to her on the phone and always getting nervose over her driving.I loved and will always love her and thank god for letting me know my cousin for a short time.I love you Sue.
