HAZEN — Erna Adolf, 95, Hazen, died March 19, 2011, at the Knife River Care Center, Beulah. Services will be held at 10 a.m. CDT Friday, March 25, at Peace Lutheran Church, Hazen, with Pastor Walt Wolff officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Barbot-Seibel Funeral Home, Hazen.
Erna is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond and Hertha Adolf, Bismarck, Leonard (Bill) and Esther Adolf, Williston; two daughters, Marcella and Alvin Knell, Hazen, and Darlene Miessel, Hazen; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; numerous step-great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Emma Bierwagon, Ft. Benton, Mont.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gustav; one son-in-law, Elmer Miessel; five sisters, Ida Bierwagon, Frieda Hildebrand, Alma Goetz, Hulda Machau and Edna Radke; and one brother, Bill.
