Actress. She will be best remembered for playing Rebecca Boone opposite Fess Parker in the TV series "Daniel Boone" (1964 to 1970). Born Patsy Lou Blake, she was raised in Dallas, Texas. Her radiant beauty enabled her to launch a career in modeling while a teenager. The experience created opportunities for her to try acting which resulted in performances in summer stock productions. This led to her being discovered by Hollywood talent scouts and her film debut in the relatively unknown Warner Brothers' war picture "Jump into Hell" (1956). This was followed by the pictures "Crimes Against Joe" (1956), "The Black Sleep" (1956, which was of note for starring Basil Rathbone, Bela Lugosi and John Carradine) and "City of Fear" (1959). She began to appear in television during the 1950s and played her first role of substance as Lou Mallory opposite Chuck Connors during the final season of the series "The Rifleman" (1962 to 1963). She retired from acting during the late 1970s. She died from breast cancer.
