ROBERT C. OSENGA HEBRON, IN Robert C. Osenga, 79, of Hebron, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2008 at the VNA Hospice Center. He was born December 11, 1928 in Fair Oaks, IN, the son of Robert and Ruby (Vail) Osenga. He had been a meat cutter, carpenter, and co-owner of Hebron Apartments for 35 years. On June 17, 1974 in Valparaiso he married Delores E. (nee Mathias) Harlow who survives along with six children: Annette (Robert) McCockran of Oakland, CA, Judith (Tom) Struble of Orlando, FL, Christine (Paul) Marciniak of Valparaiso, Margaret (John) Davis of Cedarburg, WI, Nancy (Bob) Peretin of Ludington, MI, Janice (Carl) Mathews of St. Joseph, MI, three step-children: Nancy Smock of Royal Center, Ed (Robin) Harlow of Valparaiso, Gregory (Cheryl) Harlow of Hebron, two sisters: Gertrude Akers and Ruby Osenga both of Hebron, 15 grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 10 step-great grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews; and business partner and close friend, Ron Handley. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Bernice Poplawski. A funeral service will be held Thursday, May 29th at 10:30 AM at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, Rev. Brenda Ludwig officiating with burial to follow at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 4 – 7 PM.
